Italy Presents The Best Images of The February 2010

Our Florence exhibition has just finished. It took place at the Fortezza da Basso. The exhibition is a great event for the world fashion and there were many visitors from different countries. Talented designers presented their collections and Lino Russo has also introduced its new home clothes collection: underwear and sleepwear made of pure flax got great success and recognition. The white color of the stand allowed fabrics and colors to stand out against a background.

There were many different collections exhibited at the Fortezza da Basso. The Diamond collection was among them. It represents clothes for the home: night-dresses made of pure flax. Some models look so sophisticated that they can be worn outside the house (The Feeling). Mary and Naturel resemble well-known kimono. These pajamas and robes were created with new elegant touch. They can be worn both by women and men. All the models got public acknowledgement.

Children sleepwear became the greatest news of the season. Due to delicate laces and pastel tints of the cloth every girl will feel herself like a princess. There were also successful models for boys presented. Pajamas from "Little Lord Fauntleroy" are so funny and look so tender while sleeping also.

New bedroom sets collections made in classic white and of natural cloth were presented. These sets include bed-sheets and pillowcases of different sizes. Lino Russo’s brand characteristic feature is the great color diversity. It gives you an opportunity to match a set with any style and design. The nautical line was another great exhibition novelty. Lino Russo’s brand is well-known by its collections produced from pure flax but now they decided to create new line made of cotton. Thus they united exclusive style and acceptable price.

The nautical line typical feature is the great amount of the seafaring theme embroideries. So, there was the “Wind Rose” line presented. It differs by the most distinctive sailors’ embroideries. The “Knot” line is characterized by the traditional Savoy knot embroidery application. And finally the “Nautilus” line represents shell embroideries.

Besides such toiletries like bathrobes, embroidered towels and sheets made of pure flax, baskets, and a new cutlery line with striped ribbon in white and blue colors — the nautical-style inalienable part, pillows and great number of other articles to complete the nautical "rule of art" were presented.

Tablecloths were also presented at the exhibition. They are created in new modern colors such as lapis lazuli, turquoise and all its possible tints, the most delicate blue color that is tenuous like the blue powder.

The most moderate and simplest line is the Rainbow line. Due to playing with colors it becomes possible to create different nice effects with napkins, tablecloths, napkin rings. Besides there are wonderful bright color patches used such as green and yellow. This effect allows brightening up your kitchen.

The public enthusiastically accepted all the new lines and collections. There are the new Anita model tints which present a tablecloth with two different colors contrast along the edges, the line with the contrast anthracite Stripe/Turquoise, and Valentina, which is very successful with the linen "gauze" in wisteria and purple tints. This is the real unprecedented image of Italy. The curtains made in the same “gauze” style were also appreciated by the fair visitors. Fresh, soft, nice finish colors are curtains’ most important advantage.

Men and women casual clothes was represented at the smaller exhibition area. The collection is rich in lightest shirts, trousers and dresses. The models were created to be worn in big city’s life conditions. Wearing such clothes you will stay fresh all the day long.
